The Americanized World Cup gets even more Americanized: the winners of Spain v Argentina will get Super Bowl-style rings, because of course (Non-Super Bowl style: 1,996 of these rings will also be for sale, because of course)

This is a lot of fun, as is the trip down memory lane of all World Cup mascots. (Anthropomorphic oranges and jalapeño peppers!) In the middle of 2020 I did a big vintage soccer merch shopping spree that included this shirt. May break it out again today in honor of this story.
