This was the event that inspired me to start self-publishing and the first event I tabled at (and where my profile pic was taken!) Such a lovely atmosphere, can't wait to be heading back. Seeing Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon in person was a unique and disquieting experience, the figures gaze into your very soul.
My local indie cinema are doing a season of Godzilla/Kaiju films, so I'm going to see Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster on the big screen tomorrow!

I think this might be the worst comic I've ever read It's the start of Wally West's tenure as The Flash post-Crisis/Barry Allen's death, and he's just a massive unlikeable shallow prick
I like how every threat Batman faces in modern comics is an existential crisis that breaks him down physically, psychologically and emotionally, whereas in the 60s it was like "Watch out Batman! These guys are really good at KICKING"
Let's meet another character from the world of Uncle Zaxlor: this time it's KOROL! Korol runs a robot repair shop near Zaxlor's, so they're business rivals, and also polar opposites. Where Zaxlor is chilled out, Korol is uptight, and wants to run Zaxlor out of business. DASTARDLY SCHEMES ENSUE!

Had a brilliant time at Tees Zine Fest with @williamhealy.bsky.social at the weekend! Sold some comics and zines (my wrestling zines sold possibly the best they ever had, Middlesbrough people have good taste clearly), bought some zines and had lovely chats with the fab team & stallholders.
That's two rejections now, but I still genuinely think this story is the best thing I've written so far. Just really want to find somewhere for it.
Let's meet another character shall we? Uncle Zaxlor's nephew Zam! He comes to stay over the summer, & discovers he's got a special talent, he can talk to any robot! He also knows how to fix robots just by intuition. He's a kid genius! He's sometimes confused by Zaxlor's antics, but aren't we all?

Let's meet some characters in the world of Uncle Zaxlor shall we? Starting with: UNCLE ZAXLOR! He runs a robot repair shop on the planet Zekrus. Does he love robots? Not really! Is he good at repairing them? Sort of! He prefers relaxing to working so sometimes he.. improvises. With varying results!
I like the designs of the robots in this Lego set, it's giving Battletech as the young people say (No young person has ever said this - Ed)
