So I baked the orange rolls in the air fryer but they got dark on the top FAST! I followed the bake directions from the tube but this was after half the time I was supposed to bake them. Still were done and yummy but any tips if you bake in your fryer?
Mardi Gras day looked a LOT different this year, did my best to keep spirit in my heart. Now for tradition to close the day: mtg of courts, jambalaya, non-alcoholic kir royale, & last piece of Tartine king cake which froze well. Hope everyone had a wonderful day; here’s to saving PTO for 2027! 💜💚💛

For Valentine’s, gave myself the gift of my 1st home cooked meal in my new place! For those of you who know me from NO, I always make jambalaya for final parade weekend. Felt right to keep tradition on a rainy day here. This means kitchen & dining room are unpacked! Not bad for 10 days post movers.

Happy to share today’s trip to Lafayette was less eventful than 11 days ago! Got settled in, had gumbo next door, been comfy in my pjs catching up on the world, plotting route for tomorrow. Likely west then north, different than last trip trying to avoid icy roads in N La & NE Tx.
