From Jon Cooper on Threads. BREAKING: Thousands of Iranians are gathering on bridges and around power plants right now, forming human chains after threats of U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran's civilian infrastructure.
This was Rep. Jayapal's response on Threads. Bondi's behavior at today's hearing was egregious.
Saw this posted by bearded_thrifter on Threads and have to say it reflects my feelings exactly. The act of giving thanks is something we don't devote enough time to in this society.
Lauren Boebert's Halloween costume with her boyfriend dressed as an ICE agent. Words fail. 😡😠😡
I sometimes help take care of puppies who will become service dogs. I invariably feel better after my time with them. Here’s one such sweetie.
Sun reaching aspens above Santa Fe this beautiful morning. Sometimes you have to think about other things besides where our country is headed. #NewMexico #SantaFe
I made this photo more than 10 years ago, thinking I had some sort of a unique insight. A recent image search proved otherwise. 🙄 Thank goodness I don't claim to be a photographer!
Dogs give us so much. I am grateful that our two species have a mutual pact to protect each other. (Of course there are awful exceptions, but that's not what I'm talking about now.) Dogs improve out lives, make us laugh, give us something we love to hold on to while we cry.
I found this beauty today tucked under a tree along the trail. If anyone can identify the species, I'd love to know. #NewMexico #SantaFe
A surprisingly strong turnout at the capitol in Salt Lake City today. Thousands of people! I did see one counter protester in full camo and covered face and one guy who probably never leaves the house without his rifle, but the rest were there for the right reasons.
Had to drive through Idaho to get where we’re going. I really didn’t want to spend any $ here, but we were hungry. Well, doing my own research paid off. I’m no vaccine expert but I know restaurants!
Can you imagine being in Canada and wearing this shirt? Being anywhere? What descriptive words come to mind?
Why I love skiing in British Columbia (and what extracts me from doomscrolling.)
Whether or not you want to attend, you should know. This is just the beginning.
Trying to keep despair at bay this morning. Maybe you can use some lightness. Yesterday I saw lynx tracks in the snow. Nice to know those beautiful, big-footed kitties are close by.
