My kids have been the best support system. I am so lucky to have such wonderful kids who accept and love me for exactly who I am. I wouldn’t have got through this without them. Thank you for loving me my wonderful babies 🥰.

1st pride of the year with my daughter in law. It was deemed unsafe to march so a local drag queen organised a march for those that felt they could and we were proud to march alongside them. #pridemonth
1st ever Emily birthday 👌🏼❤️. She had wanted this doll for the longest time, I so regret making her wait for it. It brought her so much joy 😍.
1/ this week alone there has been two young men shot at the park at the end of my road. A park where many children spend time riding their bikes, playing games and feeding the birds. This park kept us sane during lockdown, especially Emily’s 12th birthday pictured below.

Ten whole years of living as her true self and she has never wavered once, she knows damn well who she is. Watching my cute little girl grow into a beautiful young woman has been the biggest blessing of my life. In just over a week Emily will turn 18 I couldn’t be prouder or more relived she made it
4/ I would be taking it up with the board of governors and the education authority for violating her human rights. This worked like a charm, unfortunately I know this would hold no weight today. How far we have fallen.
1/ 10 years ago Emily started her journey she was happy and free. She was chatty and confident in every situation. She was just happy to be her awesome self. She confidently used girls toilets, changing rooms and when she was leaving primary school she went on the school residential holiday staying
4/ make it. Due to the cruel decisions of too many individuals and organisations to name them all I would be here all day. Yet their cruelty has not changed the fact that she is trans, she knows exactly who she is they have just made her life more difficult to navigate and limited her choices.
1/ Emily has spent more than half of her life living as who she is. She has always been well aware of who she is. So I ensured that she was raised and loved by me for exactly who she is because let’s be honest if I didn’t that would make me her 1st bully and I would be loving the wrong kid.
Other than college Emily doesn’t get out the door so I’m really glad that we have started to garden together. Getting her in the fresh air creating something beautiful has been great for her.
She only gives love when you are sad. Tink is a real therapy cat and making biscuits whilst drooling is her way of healing. 🥰
Gardening is fast becoming a perfect way to relax and switch off from the fear and anxiety life continuously throws our way. We are truly becoming hooked 👌🏼. Thank you to those that have been helping us along the way with much needed equipment 🙏🏼.
1/ Hoping this keeps the pigeons at bay, we have already lost too many plants to heat so hopefully this is a solution as I can’t guard them constantly. This little bargain £25- greenhouse was a stretch for me as a real one is way beyond my means.
2/Two women (half the time one as Emily has college and exam revision) working with almost no equipment and resources trying to prove that we can achieve when we put our minds and strength into it.
1/Me and Emily have put in a massive amount of time on the garden today, seeding, potting and repotting. We have done as much sieving through the mound of soil dug up and mixed in the last of our compost and used up the last of our heavy duty bags so we are at a standstill until we get more of these
