Very much enjoyed Hard Times, currently running on Netflix. Walter Hill's directorial debut, and he wrote the screenplay. Cracking cast, with Coburn in particular standing out. A gorgeously spare script, slow boiling and tight.
Many moons ago, I tried a screen grab from the Monty Python sketch about the most dangerous joke in the world. All that came out was the subtitle. Weirdly, this created an image that sums up so much of the world right now, especially the #GamesIndustry in which I work. We all deserve better leaders.

Gee, I wonder why Glasgow and Scotland have issues with racism and sectarian violence. The other side of this divide are as bad. Conflict and division, hate perpetuated under the cover of 'culture' and 'tradition'.

If you have Netflix and you've never seen Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, get that sorted. It is quite remarkable. Very highly recommended.

This is one of the oldest I have that I painted, around 1990. It's also my first conversion. It was a Lobot mini (Lando's assistant from Empire Strikes Back) by Grenadier for West End Games, but I needed a priest for the Cthulhu game I was running.
Entirely fuck Reform, fuck Streeting, fuck all those other vultures who see the privatisation of the NHS as a chance to make a quick quid for themselves and their mates. Invest in the NHS properly, you bastards. Stop running it down for your own profit. Love the #NHS.
