I prefer posting my longer musings on mastodon (EmoJortsGirl@.woof.tech), but felt like this was personally important enough to share here as well

I've come to the realization recently that "Agender" describes me better, as I have a disdain for the concept of gender and the lenses gender gets viewed through.

I find being viewed as a fem it/it's more comfortable. So the pronouns of she/her aren't exactly *inaccurate* but rather an unfortunate default for most people due to the society they (at least those who exist in the same or similar society) would've been brought up to understand gender in. Not to say that I am any better in that aspect either.

I want to believe it's tied to my desire to be seen as anything BUT human, to be viewed the way someone would look at a computer. I can be activated, interacted with and turned off at someone else's whim. Out of sight and out of mind otherwise. I have multiple forms of Kivah, one of my favorites is a robot Kivah.

I do believe that this is connected to my asexuality, an intrinsic lack of interest on a sexual connection with most, if not all people. Computers don't desire sex, they don't need gender. At least that's where my connection to them comes from. I'm more comfortable being seen as a robot shaped like Kivah rather than a person who IS Kivah.
