Learning that this guy is diabetic, starting him on insulin, and seeing him gain weight and act more like his old self.
I still get misty looking at these pics from each of their last days. Finn the Frenchie had many thousands of $s of surgeries to help him breathe, but he could not be saved. Sophie the Puggle (my girl) just grew too old to carry on.
Our power has gone out (briefly) twice already today. Not a good sign, as it is only 88 degrees at this point in the day.
