It has a multi-touch trackpad and Signature keyboard. There's TouchID support via a sensor on the top right of the keyboard as well. Along the left edge are two USB-C ports and a headphone jack. The webcam is 1080p, and there are side-firing speakers that support spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, too.

John Ternus is on stage recapping everything Apple announced this week, starting with the iPhone 17e and the new iPad Air with M4. He just announced the new MacBook Neo and we're watching a video detail its features now. It has a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, for instance.

On the S26, there's also a new Ocean Mode available as part of Expert Raw, which was originally designed to help researchers monitor the health of coral. #GalaxyUnpacked

Cassie Smith is on stage to talk about sustainability. Samsung achieved its eco goals for 2025. In 2026, the company expanded its use of recycled materials on the S26. It's also working to improve its water use, hoping to return more water to the world than it uses for manufacturing. #GalaxyUnpacked

Now we're moving on to new audio gear: the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. This is more than just a design refresh. We're talking about punchier bass and hi-res playback with increased fidelity. The buds feature larger woofers along with new tweeters and a dual-amp architecture. #GalaxyUnpacked

Now we're diving into improved AI-powered camera features, like Samsung's new document scanning tool that can automatically remove stuff like fingers from scans. Mason Page from Samsung's Product Marketing department is talking about camera innovations. The two most important camera hardware upgrades are wider apertures for the S26's main 200MP camera and its 50MP 5x telephoto cam. There's also a new noise-reduction algorithm. #GalaxyUnpacked

One thing that's really cool is that you can even specify when the Privacy Display is on. It can be activated automatically when using specific apps or just for things like notifications. You can even set the feature to turn on and off by double tapping the phone's power button. #GalaxyUnpacked

The new Privacy Display is exclusive to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The display has narrow pixels that primarily emit light straight out, while wide pixels push light out to the side. You can turn the wide pixels off, which prevents people from peeking at what you're doing. #GalaxyUnpacked

Rachel Roberts is talking about S26's new chip: the Snapdragon Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. Its NPU is 39% faster than last year & its CPU and GPU are 19 and 24% more powerful. Samsung redesigned the S26's vapor chamber to provide better sustained cooling thanks to improved heat transfer. #GalaxyUnpacked

Samat is demoing a new feature called app automations that allows Gemini to read your chats and use that information to order a pizza with the correct toppings. Alternatively, you can also ask Gemini to order you groceries via Instacart or even call you a car using Uber. #GalaxyUnpacked

Now on stage is Won-joon Choi to discuss other facets of AI on S26. Privacy regarding the data AI can access is important. When data's sent to the cloud, it'll be deleted after it's no longer in use and there are multiple settings options users can adjust based on their preferences. #GalaxyUnpacked

All new iPhone 17 models start with 256GB of storage. The iPhone 17 starts at $799, the iPhone Air at $999 and the iPhone 17 Pro at $1,099. A 2TB configuration will be available for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 16e is getting a price drop to $599. #AppleEvent

As a reminder, the iPhone 17 Pro will still come in 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch models. We're seeing a video now that... might have been shot on iPhone 17 Pro and also features it being used. #AppleEvent

Apple is adding support for Genlock for video syncing; useful for content creators and streamers who use multiple cameras at once. iPhone 17 Pro has a range of new accessories like a new TechWoven case that "uses multiple yarn colors to create a sophisticated look" & a protective coating #AppleEvent

"Deep learning models" were applied to improve de-mosaicing in the camera algorithms, and now digital zooms go up to 40x. The iPhone 17 Pro has "the equivalent of 8 pro lenses in your pocket." Now we're being shown some more camera samples from photographers Apple worked with. #AppleEvent

Up front is the 18-megapixel Centerstage camera, with a wider field of view and higher resolution. On the back are three 48MP cameras and all three are Fusion cameras with updated imaging pipelines. The telephoto cameras are 48MP 4x and a 12MP 8x "optical quality" zoom. #AppleEvent

Like the iPhone Air, the iPhone 17 Pro will use the A19 Pro and has Ceramic Shield on both the front and back. The Ceramic Shield back is 4x more resistant than the previous back glass. It looks like we're getting anti-reflective screens across the entire new iPhone family. #AppleEvent

There's a vapor chamber that directs heat "strategically through the system" and the aluminum unibody, Joz said. Apple claims the vapor chamber helps deliver 40 percent better sustained performance. #AppleEvent

Cook is passing on to Greg Joswiak "Joz" to tell us more about the iPhone 17 Pros. It's the "most powerful iPhone ever — by far." Joz is starting with thermal management. #AppleEvent

The iPhone Air's internal design was completely rethought to maximize battery space. There are also new features like adaptive power modes to manage power to help you reach all-day runtimes intelligently. There's new accessories too, including a new low-profile MagSafe battery. #AppleEvent

Ternus said the iPhone Air also has the Centerstage camera we learned about, and it'll support dual-camera recording so you can capture scenes from the front and back cameras at once. Ternus is recapping the iPhone Air and talking about eSIM, which is better in many ways and convenient for travel.

So despite only having a single camera, Apple is trying to pack in a ton of features, including sensor-shift OIS and a 2x telephoto zoom. But it's not entirely clear if that's a true optical zoom or digital. #AppleEvent
