Oversimplifying by repeatedly asking about problems people are currently directly facing and asking how much of your work involves anything in any particular communities versus your main top-down approach which, if nothing else, seems to be contributing to the bad reputation you get?
I directly asked you if you had done anything on any number of issues in the Midwest and you responded by talking about Hawaii and Pittsburgh? Lol. Like I said, if you're not doing things local/state communities see that are materially good don't be surprised if those places view you differently.

You don't need transcendentalism and spirituality from a made-up caricature to figure out how to get clean water to people or improve education, healthcare, transportation, or anything else. You just need good policies. I know it sounds boring but it kind of should be.

The problem nowadays is how difficult it is to separate journalists from doing things to network/move up the ladders versus chasing stories. Not that it hasn't always been the case, but now it's just almost entirely blurred lines. @pablo.show brought it up on a recent show.

Taylor reshares him all the time on Twitter so if you're not on there you probably wouldn't know. The other psychologists are fine and decent and he seems well intentioned but...not as good as Taylor thinks. Lol. But at least he admits this.
The main guy she keeps quoting is Chris Ferguson, who is by his own admission intentionally contrarian on purpose. Also look at the number of views before he latched onto Taylor. His methods have been considered as questionable as many in Haidt's book.
