Returned some books to the library today and discovered they had covered the parking lot they share with the city activity center with a solar canopy.

I want ice cream so much right now, but the power's been down since last night's storm, and we don't want to open the freezer in case there's a chance the food in there might still be okay. Ah, well. Another room-temperature sparkling water will have to do. Good night, all.

Bare tree branches lit up with lots of green lights. I don't have any pictures of fireworks, so Christmas stuff will have to do. We can use the reminder of cold weather right now.
