BREAKING: Our response to the Supreme Court ruling in B.P.J. v. West Virginia State Board of Education and Hecox v. Little, which upholds restrictions on transgender student participation in school sports under Title IX and the Equal Protection Clause in limited circumstances.

It was a night that changed the course of history, & we still say the names of the those who bravely lit the torch: Stormé DeLarverie, Sylvia Rivera, Marsha P. Johnson, & many more. Stonewall wasn’t the first act of resistance, nor will it be the last, yet we will always remember it with reverence.

Marriage equality didn’t happen overnight. It was a right fought for by millions of Americans over decades, who advocated with consistency, grit, determination, and bravery. 11 years later, this victory reminds us: when we show up, we win.
