he/him Minneapolis, MN. This is my home, I’m a local
and took turns giving each other wiggly fingers over his head. And all I can think about is these dorks (complimentary) rehearsing all this. Anyway, here’s their song with the sax player from Voodoo Glow Skulls
For me it was 2012 at First Ave. It was the tour for Comet. The lighting board dude gave me the set list.
Good morning, Minneapolis. Bouncing Souls at First Avenue Day is here. Cheers!

And that just shows how much “extra” road drivers claim, and how simple driver calming can be. You keep the lanes the same size, but take away the drift to either side (with medians or bump outs or bollards, etc.) and suddenly it feels tight. Like you gotta slow down.
The Lanes don’t actually narrow here. They just have flex posts on the lines. What it really means is that drivers should just stay in their lanes. And that definitely tells you how much drivers drift to the left and right because they’re going so fast.
I appreciate any and all infrastructure spent on traffic calming and trying to get drivers to slow down. On 54th between Nicollet and Lyndale they restriped and put flex posts on the lines (probably anticipating increased traffic due to the bridge construction). What’s interesting is the sign.
Gonna wear these to my next Lynx game. Yes, I own official The Aquabats!goggles. Why?
My brother did an interview on AI and tech in schools. Gotta say he gave a pretty good pull quote.
The author is trying to force a program where they are paying (as outside contractors) community representatives to aid in the design of clinical trials into a discussion of paying subjects. Paying patients to consult on study design is not the same as paying patients to be research subjects.
Disappointed by this article. What Gillette is doing is completely misrepresented in this subhead. I think there is a fascinating clinical/research ethics conversation to be had about paying patients for volunteering to be research subjects, but that’s not what this program is doing or addressing.
Why is this sign placed to block the sidewalk? On Upton Ave S at the creek - which is the only place for pedestrians and bikes to cross the creek between Xerxes (closed due to road construction) and Penn
Neil Diamond wrote a song specifically for Smash Mouth (featuring Ranking Roger)
Oops, because of the ad break I didn’t actually include the quote. This immediately precedes the screenshot above.
