It can be so easy to get carried away though...

My black transport bike in Amsterdam in front of our old cafe. It is so ludicrously overloaded with boxes in the front that it was impossible to actually see forward without doing a little side to side ride and calculating my path many meters ahead. The basket thing in the front is attached to the frame and not just the front wheel so actually carrying a load like this is fairly easy, and turning is a matter of leaning. The load is secured with ratchet straps that I always keep in the saddle bags for just such an occasion.
In the background is the sign from our cafe which we named after the chef (and my lovely wife) Mary Jo. We called it Eat at Jo's.

We were chosen by a stray, who was quickly named Maeve, Queen of the Fairies. But after an illumiating trip to the vet he became Maverick. Then Pinhead. Then Pineous Headious. He looked a bit like your Jim. You know the type.

Our rambuctious cat Maverick, part ginger and part piebald white, with his head stuck through the plastic wrap of a Heineken six-pack. It almost looks as if he is wearing it as a cape.
He's not quite pleading for help yet, and is a little too dim to know he should be embarrased.

I had this one pop up a while ago.

The finest mangoes in the world are on the street! Don't sleep on this. Going fast, at least I have anything to say about it!

Ali Baba honey mangoes from Pakistan, with only 5 left of the original 10.
They are a beautiful golden yellow in colour and are carefully packed in a protective box with a gorgeous full colour label with birds and flowers and intricate designs.
So sweet and juicy that you have to eat them over the sink!

It was lower. But percentage wise not as big of a climb as in the US, where it's always artificially low because of scandalously low fuel taxes.

In Amsterdam it's $10.40 per gallon for gasoline right now. $10.92 for diesel. (Picture taken from my e-bike).

A simple Amsterdam bike parking rack that is just a series of bent pieces of tubing coming out of the ground, tall enough and easy enough to readily lock at least two bikes to each one.

Experts agree.

Guitarist Kim Thayil of the band Soundgarden sporting a lovely t-shirt from my old band Die Kreuzen with the cover from our second album "October File".
The cover is a little difficult to explain, but was constructed by artist Richard Kohl using objects like wire and a cross, casting shadows on rice paper.
The title and band name are in small lower case letters in red ink, and Mr. Thayil is modeling it in a corridor mostly painted blue.

It's a good question. Without a Xitter account I can't say for sure, but a casual search shows nothing. And a quick look at his Wikipedia page doesn't mention losing his father in the war. In fact I can't find any mention of his father serving in the military at all.
