Resisting urge to smash my new iPhone when I’m chirpily told I can now ask Siri to use ChatGPT to do things it’s not even well suited for. Thank goodness this is a thing I can turn off, but I’m annoyed it exists at all, and boy does the language in this menu piss me the fuck off
So, 5 hours later, my ankle is pain free, but the top of my foot hurts, especially when I lift my toes toward my shin. Pretty sure I fucked my extensors. See pic: those swollen lumps aren’t on the other foot. Any foot experts know if I need to go get this seen?
I’m home in Newfoundland for the next six weeks taking care of my mom after surgery. Placentia has a YMCA now! The weight room is basic but serviceable. Never had anything like this out here when I was growing up, so, thankful for it! If you’re a NFLD pal, perhaps we can get lunch or coffee later?
I’m self-conscious about my bacne situation so both don’t mention it and also forget I mentioned it. The back pump was good enough that I’m posting this anyway
My value as a person is unrelated to my physical appearance, but, with that said, here is an image of physical appearance
Maybe I just need to 1. Only exist in low-light environments and 2. Never smile. Problem solved!
Just randomly blitzing my first sub-10 minute run in Hades 2 this morning.
I still do the gym thing I just don’t often feel like posting pics of it. But a certain someone took a quick snap of me filling my water bottle and I did feel like sharing that.
Liked a gym post on Instagram and the 700k follower fitness guy cold-DMed me this and like… I’ve been going to the gym for 20 years, I competed in a bodybuilding show in 2019. My Instagram account is 90% me without a shirt flexing. “Have you started yet.” I’m going to walk into Lake Ontario.
This is a picture of Utqiagvik on the very northern tip of Alaska. The average high temp in July is 65 f / 18 c. Nowhere in Alaska that isn’t on top of a mountain is snow covered year round.
Received an amazing birthday present from all my Vampire: The Masquerade players, commemorating my very first chronicle, by the amazing @inspiderwiht.bsky.social. All of their characters, mid-scene. Look at these kindred! (The game is set in Gander, Newfoundland, in 1967).
I waded through knee-deep snow on the sidewalks to take these pics. Luckily this is the powderiest, lightest snow I’ve ever experienced, so it was almost fun.
Ok, astrology app. I’m already arguably too confident, and I have oppositional defiance so if someone tries to “dom” me into doing something I will probably do the opposite to spite them for having the audacity.
Used cityquiz.io to make a map of places where I've lived, spent more than a few days, or had "significant experiences." I consider myself decently travelled but this really drives home to me how little of the planet I've actually seen.
