Per Pew (www.pewresearch.org/science/2026...) support for wind and solar is declining. Per another chart in the link above, at least some of that decline seems driven by Republicans increasingly believing that wind and solar are bad for the environment.

This kind of idea could shape energy landscapes too – imagine if utility customers had more power to demand what kind of generation their utility was building That said, making that a climate win would likely require reversing some (growing) anti-renewable sentiment (see link in next post)
