Here's one I've been stuck on for a very long time. Managed to squeeze out this today. #fiction #BooksFromTheBottomOfThePile www.abctales.com/story/ewan/m... You should probably go here first, but don't feel obliged. www.abctales.com/collection/m...
Very pleased to announce Turlough's excellent piece, Farzaneh's Song as our Pick of the Day. Share far and wide, please. Fine sentiments, well expressed. www.abctales.com/.../turl.../...
I don't usually do these: writing based on an inspiration point, that is. Anyway the prompt was " 'And the consequence was...' A free hand is given with any prompt in these creative writing exercises. Anyway, I wrote this ... #PoetryAlert #IP www.abctales.com/story/ewan/c...
I think - but don't know - that it must be a bit like this : #poetryalert Approach with caution 'Voices' www.abctales.com/story/ewan/v...
Hocus Pocus, the Best of #Focus. Starts off with Hocus Pocus; bat-shit yodelling, metal guitar playing, Hammond organ, some weird-accordion stuff, more flute than Jethro Tull, and drum solos. And it stays weird. That's why I like it.
If you don't go to pubs, you could leave your answer in a comment below ... #WhichbookshallIfinishfirst? (other books available here tinyurl.com/ELAP-AuthorP... )
Well, some times I do contemplate things, now and zen www.abctales.com/story/ewan/a...

For anyone remotely interested. I have been working on 3 different novels for the past 18 months. More correctly, I should say I have been trying to complete 3 unfinished novels for that period. #booksfromthebottomofthepile #writingnotwriting
#PoetryAlert. Steer well clear, if you don't like doggerel. The Last Human www.abctales.com/story/ewan/l...
#poetryalert Danger, Danger! Will Robinson. #No_robots or #AI were deployed in the making of this poem. Let's not give up under the onslaught of AI created content. AI can't do what I did on the Kindle shown ... yet. www.abctales.com/story/ewan/go
Arranged to #KDP(ublish) 2nd edition of A Story A Week, now with bespoke cover and two typos corrected. Nothing new inside it, but but it comes thoroughly recommended by Gottwald Schickelgrüber, Prof. Modern Literature @University of Zwickau, (paid him €2) All books here tinyurl.com/bdfwjprf
#poetryalert 'Slow Down' Stand well clear, if not that way inclined. www.abctales.com/story/ewan/s...
#BooksFromTheBottomOfThePile As some may not be aware. Amazon/KDP pay royalties 6 weeks in arrears. Some might say they mean in "ourarse". I'm planning on a Lamborghini on April 30th! Feel free to order one of my excellent books so I can afford two Lamborghinis ... www.amazon.co.uk/stores/autho...
Today's #POD is Marandina's 'The Expanse'. A fine poem, living up to the title. One might even call it numinous, perhaps. Poetry is the best way to address the ineffable, so that's why this is our pick of the day today. Please share if you like it too. www.abctales.com/story/marand...
#poetryalert Never thought I'd be thanking a Pope for anything, but he did give me the title. A Handful of Tyrants www.abctales.com/story/ewan/h...
I do have a fondness for this one. 2013?? How old? The now defunct etherbooks.com was pretty good in its day. You can find Hob here www.abctales.com/story/ewan/hob
If you want to know what the writing state of play is, it's like when someone puts some sugar in the petrol tank of a car: it's not going anywhere. But once the tank's flushed out, things might be OK. Anyway, just so as you know. tinyurl.com/bdfwjprf
This put a smile on my face today. Lots of small gains make a bigger one. If you've Amazon Prime, and read someone's book that is registered for KENP, they get circa 1p for every 3 pages read. Bet you didn't know that. (That's why his books are so long! It's not though.) tinyurl.com/bdfwjprf
This dubious character will be selling his books tomorrow from 09.00a.m. until 12.30p.m. at the Craft Fair Southgate Methodist Church, Elland. www.southgatemethodistchurch.org.uk/upcoming-eve...

In t'local book club last week, a quiz kicked things off. Theme: Orange. Of 9 purported titles, you had to mark the ones you thought were real books, who wrote 'em, if marked them as books. Others were films, music, art, etc. This WAS an orange herring, not now. www.abctales.com/story/ewan/l...
