What’s that in the woods? A book luring you into dark, unfamiliar terrain? Excited for #bookmail, I can’t wait to dig into @wnwagner.bsky.social’s Girl in the Creek 🖤
Seen in the wild and excitedly purchased on indie bookstore day, I can’t wait to read Sour Cherry by @nassos.bsky.social! 🍒
Recently finished The Ghosts of Blaubart Mansion by the inimitable @ivygrimes.bsky.social and I loved the blend of weird, fantastical and creepy vibes. Also, it has amazing sisters and possums and ghosts. Such a wild and fun ride!
One of my fav covers from Kaleidotrope (Winter 2023), artwork by Aylin S Erkan.
Reading @christinogle.bsky.social’s The Best of Our Past, the Worst of Our Future 🔥

Okay I am fortunate on my choice, by chance! Although I think Noel will be feisty for you.
Do you like your holidays weird and creeeepy? 💀 This hermit crab story might be for you, then. www.litmoralitmag.com/allington-a-...
For small poem Sunday - one of my old ones originally published in Crab Creek Review.
Samantha Kolesnik’s Lonesome Haunts is dire and dark, but oh so compelling. You can’t tear your eyes away from the surreal descent of her protagonists’ lives. Grey Baby lives rent free in my head. 🐴 Another great collection from @matthewstott.bsky.social
I love all the flowers but if I had to pick, roses and pansies.
My first ever published short story, The Dancing Corpse, appeared in the delightful Betty Fedora issue #4. Lots of 🍰🫖💀 in the British countryside, murder mystery style.
Excited to share that my horror flash fiction story “For Sale By Owner” will appear in Pyre Magazine this month! ☠️
So excited my short story “The Game” will be appearing in DUEL (a Hexagon MYRIAD zine), out in December! Who will wear the crown? 👑 Edited by @thisisguan.bsky.social and published by @hexagonmagazine.bsky.social
Excited to have a micro story in Hearth and Coffin! There’s so much good speculative writing in this issue - creepy terms of use, spooky feminist baptisms, and more. Hope you enjoy! 💀 www.hearthandcoffin.com/post/i-thoug...
Love this time of year, bring out your writerly ghosties and speculative fuzzies! 🍂👻🎃🍂
Been growing tea in hopes of making a cup for myself next year! Writing or reading + tea = happy place. 🫖
