So we paid Steve to clear our lot with his excavator, discard the stumps, and burn all the slash. About a month ago this chapter was finished. We drove in last week to confirm the exact location for our cabin, Steve had marked the footprint with paint. #ShirleyandFrankBuikdACabin,maybe.

Great Northern Railway Y-1 electric locomotive, 8 were built in 1927, sold by the GN in 1957 to the PRR, all scrapped by 1966.

July 3rd 2021, part 2. Finally had found a site for a cabin, not perfect but it was ours. The pictures are all taken from our road, showing how thick the bushes and trees were.

July 3rd, 2021, finally our first visit to our property. 1/8th acre of forest land, with a dried up creek bed running thru it, the state of Idaho had moved the creek in the 60's. #Shirley&Frankbuildacabin,maybe.

The red paint was put there by the seller, marking our property line. The lot runs 75" along the road, and is 100" deep.

Looking down into the dry creek bed, hard to spot but the fence post in this picture is marking the corner of our lot.

The first lot we looked at, July 2nd 2020, did not buy this lot as Shirley was not quite on board with buying a lot yet. This lot sold before we pulled the trigger and bought ours. Had a transformer right on its corner. #Shirley&Frankbuildacabin,maybe.
