Anniversary gift to my teenager from his boyfriend. The kids are alright.

Supposedly going to be the largest tornado outbreak ever seen in my area tomorrow because the universe decided I didn’t have enough anxiety.

I’ve been in a reading slump since the holidays, but for my real life book club, I had to do My Friends by F. Backman. Good, maybe even beautiful, but my current mood found it dragging & depressing & I struggled to finish it. Prompt 1.9 book with a body of water on the cover. #OFMDReadingChallenge

The Wabash. 200 yrs ago my town went to “war” with the next town upstream over control of the canal lock. It involved pitchforks & clubs and the worst injury was when one guy got muddied and bruised after getting shoved in the river. Today, the residents of both towns still side-eye one another.

#OFMDReadingChallenge prompt 1.1 for a book featuring a rebellion. The leading ladies in the 2nd instalment of the Ill Mannered Ladies series rebel against everything society and really awful brothers demand they be. Great follow up to a book I enjoyed and I can’t wait for the rest of the series.
