What glorious weather we've been enjoying in the UK this week, perhaps a little too hot for some. But it has enabled me to get out #naked on the hills three times, plus a #skinnydip. Naked hiking is the only way yo go when it's this hot.
Summer has finally decided to put in an appearance just in time for Naked Hiking day. So I hiked up a mountain. Passed a few people along the way, no dramas. After such a slow spring it was a huge relief to get naked again. 6 miles #nakedhiking. #Normalisenaturism.
Sometimes it feels like everything works the wrong way around. After a really dreary winter in the Lakes, suddenly we get the promise of this. Then a job comes up that I have to do and it cannot wait. Let’s hope it’s just the start.

Before I discovered Twitter and then moved on to Bluesky I thought I was the only one who enjoyed naked rambling so I was very circumspect. Discovering many others who also enjoy this pastime has been a great benefit. Hope to meet more of you in the new year.
I do a lot of naked hiking. There are usually a few people about but generally it’s possible to avoid them until you reach the summit. One mountain I climbed had about 200 people on or around the summit. I just walked on through them and no one said a word. Photo by a passerby.

This year just keeps on giving. A heatwave in April. A mast year for Oak Trees, a glut of apples and in late September the sun comes back to bless us once more. A fine day of contrasts out on the hills, a cool northerly wind but with beautiful sunshine. #naturism #freehiking #naked #nakedrambler
