Some customization of Cuius Regio ( @gmtgames.bsky.social ) with @cube4me.bsky.social trays. Thanks to Alejo from @gigamesh.com for the trays!
So we played Azure (no pic, I focus on playing and forgot to take any photo) and Moytura. We liked both, we will play again soon. I would recommend them to people that like abstract games but don't mind a bit of randomness. A small bit. Games that will feel better yet with more plays.
Today I received what I think is my first all-in in any game (except the ones I made) and it looks spectacular. Moytura and Azure by @bitewinggames.bsky.social . They are so gorgeous that I unlocked a new designer goal: to some day publish a game with this publisher.
Cuius Regio from @gmtgames.bsky.social at Campamento Barton. With stacks vs with armies placed in the mats. And mixed pieces on the board (areas out of play) as we were playing a fast scenario.
Every time I receive one of my games I'm so happy that, as the pic shows, it's impossible to hide it. Cuius Regio, from @gmtgames.bsky.social. You can still order it at the P500 price on their webpage (link in the next message).
Playing two new prototypes and waiting for Cuius to come (pics are from the developer who got it yesterday, mine is due tomorrow).
Buffet Boss by Daryl Chow from @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social. A great game for the family. And Big Shot by Alex Randolph from Playte. A harder one for the kid, but I think it's an extremely clever design.
Cuius Regio, from @gmtgames.bsky.social , has changed its status to "At the printer". Soon it will be at the tables of the P500 backers. If you are interested, you can check the rulebook at the game's page at www.gmtgames.com/p-971-cuius-... and preorder at the discounted price.
I played it with my kid. He was too young when we tried Memoir 44 and he didn't enjoy it. This time, he asked for a replay as soon as we finished. It made me think that this game will have many expansions and versions. It's a great product.
If you didn't follow me in 2023, this is what I did with Plantagenet:
Following what I did with Plantagenet, here is my artistic interpretation of Onoda.
Mi siguiente campaña de rol. Hoy hemos acabado una con Rasputín como antagonista principal y en un par de semanas comenzaremos un Penny Dreadful usando La Llamada de Cthulhu.
For friends and family (and some extra that don't appear in the photo).
If you couldn't watch it in cinemas, now Conclave is available on some platforms. Another game-based movie, in this case it's about Habemus Papam. I haven't received any royalties yet, but I'm sure they are on their way.
So happy to see Habemus Papam from @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social in @senetmagazine.bsky.social . Thanks to @danthurot.bsky.social , who also wrote an article about Onoda on Senet #9.
This is my favourite stretch goal in Habemus Papam. I wonder why... gamefound.com/es/projects/...
Tonight it's cinema night. We are watching the movie they made to promote my game 😂😂😂 gamefound.com/en/projects/...
It's great when you go to a friend's gathering and they ask you to bring your last game again because they want to play it. Habemus Papam from @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social . Soon in Gamefound: gamefound.com/en/projects/...
This is probably the best marketing campaign of boardgames history. They've made a movie of my soon to be published game Habemus Papam. And they hired Ralph Fiennes! Wow! So, if you enjoy the movie and want to play it, get the game as soon as it's out! gamefound.com/es/projects/...
We were playing 51st state yesterday and I thought about this post. We had fun even not knowing what we were doing until the game ended and we saw how VPs had evolved. I found it very fun and interesting.
