Macc Sustainable Travel

Sustainable travel is my thing. Pedestrians, cycling, public transport. Green Party Member. Cycling UK local rep. Chairs Cheshire Active Travel Syndicate. Trouble. In posts CEC=Cheshire East Council.
Free buses in Macc every Wednesday during the school holidays.
Manchester airport is busy. Constant stream of aircraft overhead.
Brambles starting to obstruct the pavement on Victoria Road in Macc. I have reported this to the Council and I have emailed the land owner.
Driver today blocking the dropped kerb by Macc Hospital. I have emailed the hospital once again, urging them to repaint the double yellow lines.
I drive by this vehicle occasionally. The photo is poor but I find it hard to believe it's road-legal. Thoughts?
Here's my bike, badly parked, at local shops. I raised over £1000 to install proper bike stands by the shops. This was never done because the ownership of the land by the shops is not clear. The money is still there, 5 years later.
A bike was stolen from Macc Hospital yesterday. Apparently the bike rack is in a blind spot for the CCTV. It's a crap rack too.
That's not how I have interpreted it. I don't think you will be able to cycle through. Could be wrong though.
Here's a footway done on the cheap. Not very reassuring on a straight 60mph road. Delamere Forest.
Leamington Police have offered cyclists this advice. It's not gone down well.
Spoke to this girl's mother who said she didn't expect a 12 year old to be able to achieve much. I reminded her of Greta Thunberg.
Makeshift bike parking by the Tythy shops. Unfortunately, the landowner was not interested in proper stands even if (as was the case) someone else would have funded them.
Northwich Council are considering handing over part of a public park for additional carparking. They seem to think this will improve healthcare. Dreadful.
Are we supposed to read something into the fuel the car uses?
At this time of year my social media feeds regularly include posts from people asking for cars to be moved. These have been left in areas where events are due to take place but, despite clear signs, cars have been left: inconveniencing everyone.
So they have just replied. All sorts of misleading information on the internet. Really poor. Drive or don't come.
