Speaking of youth pastors and their crimes. I just saw this today.

A woman identified in the affidavit only by her initials told investigators that Vander Meer had groomed her starting in 2002, when she was 14. She reported that the relationship became sexual when she was 16. He never spoke of the two of them having a future together but told her that the only way the two would be together was "if Bernadette was not alive," according to the affidavit.

Hmmm…I have a couple of follow up questions about his grandparents

Just remembered an extremely shady doctor‘s office I went to once. The hearing test was administered in just a regular room with an iPad and headphones. They had me signal that I heard the beeps with a dog training clicker from PetSmart. Also this mural was painted on the smoke shop next door

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that there is still an insane amount of excess parking lots around the stadium because America is car brained. It is shocking to see just how much space was wasted for the automobile in the before/after.

On the left is the stadium area in 2017. It is mostly parking lots and a massive highway off ramp that was supposed to be part of another highway that cut through the heart of our city. On the left is the new stadium and training fields. The team tore down 8 buildings and cut off one street. They built 3 new buildings (including the stadium) and a parking garage (can’t have helpless suburbanites use transit) and reconnected the grid system for two streets.
