I don't remember why I picked this one up, but I'm really glad I did. It's a magic school book, but the characters aren't teenagers, they're adults. And before the moment of getting a strange phone call, they weren't special in any way.

After a week of illness, I just don't have it in me to brave snow and crowds at Cosine today. So I'm picking up a project that's been neglected for a while.
