We held M's grad party with her cousin to save all the relatives time and trips - went really well in spite of the heat! Might be a bit tired 😂 We have one week that's more low key, then the county Fair, M leaves for college, and Fest starts.
Closed out #OSH26 and are headed back to Minnesota! It was such an honor to see the Red Arrows perform!! 🇬🇧

Laundry morning at #OSH26 We had a late night around the campfire telling ghost stories, but no matter how late I go to bed, the second I hear a plane fly over I'm up and out of the camper to look up 😂

Made it to the NASA pavilion - I was SO excited they were back this year, especially after the epic year they had! I brought a lighter I engraved and gave it to one of the employees from Kennedy Space Center. Have a couple more with other designs to gift thru the week! #OSH26
Opening day! Walked into Boeing Plaza first and saw the Globemaster 🤘 #OSH26
We spent time at the EAA Museum at #OSH26 today. In my favorite section, they have a F-100 cockpit trainer. I watched two young women in their late teens/early 20s spend about 15 minutes pouring over it. Right before I sat in it, a man in his 90s was sitting there. Love this museum!
Because of the smoke the fly-in traffic has been delayed a few times. The current conga line reaches back almost to Racine, WI. #OSH26
First night at Fly-in Theater and they're playing Top Gun. For it's 40th anniversary we're getting pre-show stories from Lloyd "Bozo" Abel, who was the F-14 aerial coordinator for the film, AND the man flying the plane for the tower fly-by 🤘#OSH26

My parents are watching Tucker while we adventure at Oshkosh. My mom sent this photo of Dad discussing mediation with Tucker. Last time he was there Dad taught him how humans tie shoes. I think he may be Dad's favorite grandchild 😂

Everything is crap. Here's a grounding moment for you: Last night my son (15) had a friend over who moved to Minnesota last year from Oregon. He'd never seen fireflies. So we took a walk by the Mississippi under the full moon, with distant lightning rolling north of us, and he got to see fireflies.
