Doctor Who fan (check out HBWHoTube on YouTube), sci-fi/cult TV fan in general, long COVID, recovering gym addict and load of other things that'll emerge over time.
The off air recordings I've seen from American broadcasts certainly didn't have the regeneration footage on them... but they do have remade credits for the end of an omnibus which manage to get both a character AND the actor wrong in one credit!

My mother is 100% clueless about gay terminology. In our daily phone call today she was (jokingly) bemoaning me not providing her with grand kids and said, in all innocence, "You'd be a great daddy to a son". Guess applications are open then!

but it's definitely not anything about a rumoured cartoon series that everything then went quiet on. Dec 1990 - news death. Jan 1991 DWM (so would have been written round about "now") - there will be an announcement "soon". The inclusion of "new look" Sea Devils is pure chance. Not 1990 at all.
