Only just catching up with the news on Amnesty. Seems they made a list, accusing many reputable organisations of being anti-human rights and it's backfired. They've been calling for other charities to have their charitable status removed. I'm sure the charity commissioners will be interested.
Britain imports nearly half of the food we eat. Apart from anything else, that makes us very insecure. We should not be building houses, solar farms or data centres on agricultural land.

Maisy, my beautiful old lady cat. I adopted her through Cats Protection when she was about four. She's now about seventeen. She hides from everyone but me, probably because of mistreatment before she came to live here. She's calm today. Hope she stays that way.

Kingston Hospital displays this map to show where their staff come from. The NHS would collapse without staff from overseas, roughly one in five. In critical care roles, that's doctors and nurses, it's one in three. Most of these people will have experienced racism from patients.

Due to my sight and hearing loss, son says I should use Gemini more on my phone. I gave it some instructions. It answered in German. Not sure that this brave new AI world will be reliable. Maybe it should be called artificial incompetence? If something can go wrong, it probably will, some times.
Paralympic champion Tanni Grey-Thompson's wheelchair went missing on a domestic flight. The airline offered her a couple of sleeping bags, which they said she'd lost. Her wheelchair turned up several weeks later in Dublin, sawn in half. It was suggested she might tape it together with duct tape.
