An important thing to note about my characters is that they live in a multiverse. This multiverse functions to keep them separate(unless I say otherwise like with Deabo and Theo or Wade, Keith and Andos) and their worlds able to have different rules. It can also give Theo alternate forms.
Getting back to proper chronological order in this OC(as best I can) comes my ghost hunting OC from UMBRA Academy, Howell. He’s something like if Green Lantern was a Hawaiian Monk Seal that hunted ghost and had a couple of extra powers. He’s usually a loner but became friends with fellow seal, Rico.
Saw this going around today and yesterday and I’m always down to share more OC facts.
So I might have, by my own rules jumped the gun when it comes to introducing OCs by jumping to Pedro instead of an OC that came first but got proper art later on, Sid. Sid is Darren’s boyfriend. He is the lean, more serious minded and would be the stronger of the two if he matched Darren’s size.
Continuing on with another secondary sona, Deabo. He was made in the summer of 2021 and is a Hispaniolan Ground Iguana. He’s meant to be a sona more closely connected to my roots as a Dominican(hence the emphasis on his species which lives in DR). He’s a flirt, internal messenger and Theo’s cousin.
We move on to Andos who is an adopt I got from Cowsproutz on Twitter back in June 2021. He might not have started off as mine but I did give him a name, eye color and some lore where there wasn’t any before. A cat bull shark who lives under the sea and happens to be good friends with Keith and Wade.
After Darren comes Pedro, my pokèsona. Pedro is a Marowak who owns and runs a cemetery in a Mystery Dungeon style world. Carrying a lot of family baggage along with the scarf his sister gave him and the scarred skull his dead mom left behind. Prefers to be alone but isn’t asocial or anything.
Next up is my secondary sona, Darren. Created back in the summer of 2020 while Theo’s story was made in spring of that same year. Darren started as a character made for a specific story that kinda just became another representation of myself over time. Both a fighter and friendly giant of a Jaguar.
Next up is my main sona, Theo Augusto. He began as a man permanently changed into a polar bear by a potion offered essentially by an eldritch being he still has yet to fully understand. That was back in 2020 and in the years since he’s learned alchemy, ice magic, size changing, growing a mustache.
It’s OC Thread time now 🧵 Going to go in chronological order and show some art and an introductory story and or poem. Gonna start with what would be considered my first OC, Wade. Predating Theo by almost a whole year is Wade the white rhino. Soldier, close friend/lover of Keith, angel (more below)
Literally lies and ridiculous boasting in just the first paragraph of the foreword. Skimmed through this and yeah they’re going after “Anti American” threats like leftists because we’ve reached the point where this sad, pathetic administration feels it can go after anyone who rightfully dislikes it.
As of yesterday I can now say I watched the Project: Hail Mary movie and finished the book(not showing my copy because it is WORN). Both were pretty enjoyable and now I can move on to reading other books.
Nevermind I got em. Cause this site is continuing to struggle, *sigh*.
Made some Curry yesterday that I brought back from my trip. Also made some chicken and vegetables to go with it. Had enough that I was able to make a lunch with it that I ate earlier today.
In the middle of the month I went on a long planned family vacation to Japan. I spent about a week traveling around Tokyo. I got back last weekend, meant to post pictures from the trip sooner but between work and needing to readjust to my regular timezone I just needed time. This’ll be a thread.
Not man, not animal but a secret third thing. (I figure I should give in to sillier impulsive thoughts as well as the sad and snarly ones so that’s what this is.)
A good thing that came out of today was I got to make breakfast/brunch during the blizzard this morning thanks to work starting later. Got to use this pancake mix I’ve had for a while(added a few of my own touches to it when making the pancakes).
