I drew a birb with these cheap wacky colored pencils and some charcoal. The pencils repelled ink and charcoal, making me think they are wax-based.

There were originally five. Three died the first day. One more died early this morning. This one is starting to get the same floppy muscle tone that her siblings got before they crashed. The shelter is offering to euthanize her but I have hopes. This guy was the only survivor of a litter himself.

ICE has occupied the campus of Georgia State University. The only guidance the university gave to students is that they cannot enter residence halls and other buildings. My daughter doesn’t want to be there. She said she feels policed walking to and from classes and that many of her friends have expressed the same feelings.

Just got back from an ICE protest in metro Atlanta. Now we are preparing for a rumored snowstorm.
