What is the Credit Enhancement (CE) program? The Fund’s CE program provides a 10% portfolio guarantee to approved loans, helping strengthen loan portfolios with participating lenders. This program helps First Nations support members looking to build, buy, renovate, or refinance homes on reserve.

Does the Fund provide mortgages? The Fund is not a lender. We work with First Nations and approved financial institutions to help strengthen homeownership opportunities on reserve through our Credit Enhancement program. This can help communities develop programs tailored to their unique needs.
