Barricades blocking off traffic, a massive police turnout & helicopters overhead. Vehicular traffic and pedestrians diverted. Misery all round. At least Kaufman Furs & its neighbor on the block entertained for a moment. Go Knicks.

I love this sign. Have better pictures of it somewhere, but this is from 2010. Am annoyed you can’t see earlier Street View shots any more, to pinpoint the incremental changes on a block. But that’s Google for you. Was on the Avenue today & remembered when I walked it all the way down to the shore.
