Fortnite has fixed an issue with the Epic Games Launcher where players were unable to update or install games, or where they saw it appear blank. This fix is out now, and if your launcher still appears blank please follow these steps: epic.gm/LibraryMissing

🎒 Fortnite is investigating an issue causing the Ironmouse Sprite to be missing from the Sprite Mastery Pod Back Bling for players who mastered it before today's v42.00 update. I’ll share an update once this is sorted and the Sprite is granted to all affected players.

⚠️ Fortnite is aware of an issue where some islands calibrated after the release of v42.00 may not grant XP as expected. Islands calibrated before v42.00 are not affected and will continue to grant XP. I will let you know when I have more information.

Fortnite is working to fix an issue where Sprites cannot be summoned or brought into a match, and will share an update when this is resolved.

✅ Fortnite has fixed an issue with the Sprites rewarded from Quests, including Sprite Spree and Quack Sprites, where some players didn't see the Sprites in their collection. They are added to your collection now, and can be resummoned for 0 Sprite Dust.

✅ Arenas has been re-enabled and any missing titles or banner progression from player stats has been restored.

🗓️Mark your calendars! From August 27 at 4 AM ET to September 2 at 4 AM ET, the Portal at the Monastery opens once again. Banish the Shatter Spawn, and walk away with four golden rewards: the Sword of FIRE, Scythe of QUAKES, Nunchucks of LIGHTNING, and Shurikens of ICE.

Fortnite is temporarily disabling Arenas to resolve an issue with players' progression not being updated so they can restore your progress. Arenas will be back online shortly, and any missing progression will be restored.

Fortnite fixed an issue where some players didn't receive a Lucky Locator from daily quests when Sprite Spree Week began, and have granted the Gizmo to those affected.

Fortnite is investigating reports that some players do not see the Zero Point or Gem Zero Point sprites in their collection after completing the new Sprite Spree quests. I’ll provide an update when they have more info.

🗺️ Fortnite fixed the bug causing POIs to appear undiscovered on the map. If you'd already found them before, just swing by again to fully reveal them, and you'll still get the Discovery XP for doing so.

🍌 Peeky Peely Sprite just got an upgrade! Fortnite has increased the range, frequency, and duration of Peeky Peely Sprite marking rare Sprites - including ones equipped by other players - at all mastery levels.

✅Fortnite has fixed an issue where some players may have seen Fortnite as ‘offline’ in the Epic Games Launcher.

Sprite hunters: Fortnite accidentally showed a Gem Punk Sprite on Gem Hours day, however this variant isn’t available and won't be releasing on this day. They apologize for the confusion.

In order to prevent crashes, bookmarked tournament notifications have been disabled on PC. They are working on a fix and will provide an update when this has been re-enabled.

💬 Fortnite is aware of issues with the Emote Wheel causing Emotes to not work as expected and are investigating. I’ll provide an update when this issue is resolved.

Fortnite removed the Dodge Viper car body cosmetic from the Shop as it is causing a crash when previewed or edited in the Locker. They’re working to fix this issue, however players may request a refund through Player Support if they prefer. 🚗

🤾 Fortnite disabled throwing or dropping Sprites into the extraction crate to extract them, to prevent an issue where they would be considered Water Sprites. To extract a Sprite, walk up to the crate and hit the button to Extract it rather than dropping or throwing it in.

💦➡️🌱 While Fortnite work to fix an issue with Water Sprites not healing you in water, they’ve replaced its ability with Earth Sprite’s “chance to find additional rare items when opening chests.”
