Thanks, everybody. I rarely get to riff these days, so it was a treat to reach out and torgo along with you all! #BMovieManiacs
Alas for Torgo. "He's really not dead. As long as we remember him." #BMovieManiacs
I'm sorry to see that Mackenzie's giant tree crusher (the largest in the wordl!) didn't make the initial cut for the northern BC bracket!
"I just want to understand this, sir: every time a rug is micturated upon in this fair city, I have to compensate the person?"
It looks like the sex chair George Clooney's character built in "Burn After Reading."
I cherish the glimpses Sam Neill gave us of his puckish, wry humour. In 2017, my friend Kenna was having an exchange on Twitter, when who should pop in to comment but Sam Neill himself. If I may quote Kenna, "That time Sam Neill jumped into our convo. I'm still dying from laughing at this."
Random thought: there surely must be a pornographic movie titled "British Rail."
Crickey, I wonder how much of the "talking pictures demonstration" guy from "Singin' In The Rain" was meant to allude to Charley Chase in looks!
4th July: "My people have been watching your world for years. We know all about you."
"Some people look at a flag swaying in the breeze at the White House & they say, that's America. Me, whenever I see an American flag hung in the window of a basement apartment by guys who have better things to do with their money than buy curtains, I say 'That's America.'" (--Bruce McCulloch)
Happy birthday to George Vancouver, born 22 June, 1757, to whom my island owes its name (and from whom that city across the water later also took its name, causing no end of confusion to those confused by the simple truth that Vancouver is *not* on Vancouver Island, nor Victoria on Victoria Island).
"Check your lease, man, because you're living on F**k Planet!" #TNGSunNight
For those who keep it, may you have an agreeable Father's Day. #StarTrek
