Katydid what? Katydid on nextdoor neighbor's peachy daylily. I watered the daylily strip at our border just couple of times this summer. It's pretty damp there since there are a lot of groundcovers.

A green bug called katydid on neighbors large peach daylily. It is in a shady spot so not much highlight on the flower n it was a cloudy day. A few golden yellow filament and anthers with pollen emerge from the center of the daylily.

2 frilly star shaped, dusty rose daylilies basking in the sun in my front yard. The flowers have greenish yellow throats wit a few filaments that curved upwards., the anthers on the tip of the filaments are burnt yellow. There are a few buds on the bottom left corner of the pic.

Happy 4th of July! No bbq but we got Hawaiian style simple spread for me n my daughter. Oven Teriyaki chicken , rice n cucumber kimchi, watermelon, boiled, boysenberries n banana mix n popcorn. We ate n now I can do some gardening!
