The JO JO Seawings at @youronlyfrienddc – brined in a blue cheese mix, dredged with crab seasoning, fried crispy and then covered in hot honey mixed with more crab seasoning – are the best in town right now. Lots of celery salt and decent heat, and not too salty, like many Old Bay dry rubs.

D.C. Arsenal supporters raised almost $1,300 for the Capital Area Food Bank this afternoon, raffling off vintage jerseys, scarves, flags, hats and other memorabilia donated by DC Armoury members. Well done to everyone involved!
