Can you have such a thing as a bad hand day? First I got a really deep paper cut from the cardboard I was recycling, then I tried to glue something and as a result have glue all over my hands that wont come off smoothly and then I filled up a fountain pen and did this 😅:

Oh me either. I'm so bad at it 😭 Idk if you've tried Drops Cotton Merino, you might not want cotton, but it's kinda perfect to knit really structured cables with. I once knit this blanket for my aunt with it and it's the right needle size:

This fucking thing. Not only was it single strand and wore my fingers to the bone, when I was done my mother loved it so much she wanted another one and I (foolishly) agreed. THEN my aunt wanted one and I finally had the wherewithal to say no 😭

My lovely mother is 78 years old today and I’ve filled an Easter Egg with candy and gotten her some cute candles and napkins and stuff. I also put together a bouquet of flowers because she deserves the world but unfortunately I can’t afford it (she’s hobi biased btw)

I'm rawdogging these selbu mittens I rather foolishly promised to knit for a raffle ages ago. Swatching is for cowards and chumps after all and I'm no coward (unless I meet an eel or something) and have only had to change needles three times so I think it's going pretty well
