I was just in Galway where we saw this lovely #Cormorant diving and then sunning their feathers on a rock. And I'm so happy they fit Alan's #BirdOfTheDay theme for today, #CHE (cormorant, heron or egret). Yay!

Today's #BirdOfTheDay main theme is #OneTwoThreeFour, (4 photos with 1, 2, 3, 4 birds, with each photo being the same bird/s) and I chose the corvids that beg for food at one of the parks I like to visit.

I like how fluffy and soft this magpie looks; it fits today's #BirdOfTheDay theme, #TantalisingTextures (smooth soft feathers of any bird contrasted with rough hard surfaces).

For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Gulls, I have to show off this snap. It looks like the seagull is menacing this little egret and it just cracks me up for some reason. The gull reminds me of Godzilla menacing Tokyo.

Yesterday on my walk I spotted a wood pigeon nest with a scraggly little chick inside and one of the parents keeping a close watch from another branch. These two certainly fit the #ScreenFiller theme for today's #BirdofTheDay.

Yay, I get to post this shot of a lovely moorhen gliding #AmongTheRipples for today's #BirdOfTheDay theme. The alt theme is #BestSideEye and I have to include this pigeon that had so much personality and absolutely no fear of me at all, just judgement that I didn't bring them food.

The #BirdOfTheDay alternative theme is #BirdsILove, and I'm all about shiny things so finding a flock of starlings camped out in a bush really made my day!

These teeny-tiny guys run so fast, it took me ages to get a clear enough shot. I have it on good authority that they're a Pied Wagtail, and they fit today's #BirdOfTheDay theme #Ebony&Ivory.

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BestOfJune26, and this photo may not be the best quality (I'm new to photo-ing), but it's the one I'm proudest of. I was so happy I caught this jackdaw telling off their friend, especially because they were moving so fast.

Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #InFlight and I just recently caught some gulls playing in the air currents over the Liffey. And the alt theme is #Blurbirds so I included a pic of a couple pigeons photo-bombing my shot lol.

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #YourChoice, and there's so many cool photos. My contribution is a silly pigeon I encountered in the airport; they made me smile as they walked under the seats between people's legs in search of crumbs. I don't know why it's so funny to me when birds find indoor homes.

It's unusual to catch the heron on the footpaths, but it fits today's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #WadersOuttaWater. (The alt theme is #Blue, which maybe the heron also fits? I'm not sure). Anyway, it all boils down to the fact I need to find a camera instead of my phone lol.

This Heron fits for today's #BirdOfTheDay prompt of #EFGH (any bird with any of those letters in any part of its name). I can't wait to get an actual camera so I can take better shots of all the lovely birds that live near me. I love scrolling through everyone's bird photos; they're so well done!

I love looking through the #BirdoftheDay feed. Today's theme is #WellTimed and just a few days ago, I caught the swans with their newly-hatched cygnets (we had been watching the nest waiting for them to hatch). Also, Swan butt lol.

Usually I feed the birds but today I got to feed this little guy. I'm trying to focus on positive things instead of the wars being started by madmen. I'm feeling so incredibly lucky that I could renounce my US citizenship, but my heart goes out to all the people crushed/killed by fascist regimes.💔

I've been trying out Yarn Under for #amigurumi but made stitches so impossibly tight I sprained my wrist & couldn't finish the plush. Instead I crocheted some fidgets. They're a tube with a marble that's pushed around inside. I'm told they really nice to fidget with. (Sorry, no pattern.) #crochet

Five fidget toys of varying colors. Each toy is a crocheted tube with a marble trapped inside. The marble can be moved up and down inside the tube. Going clockwise, there is a blue fidget, a green fidget, a pink/purple fidget, a dark purple fidget and a orange/red fidget.
