Here's the price chart for my local utility here in Kansas City Missouri:
Here's my late wife's 1995 Toyota Corolla. This was a perfectly normal sized vehicle at the time. We came out of the movie theater, and it had been completely surrounded by rolling midlife crises. The bottom of their windows was higher than the roof of our car.
This is my next audiobook. A friend who's been in the film distribution business his entire career read it, and recommended it.
On our way home from her "last wish" Alaskan cruise, me and my late wife shared a Lou's pizza with one of our friends.
I shared this article with a bodybuilder friend, and he was shocked to discover that one of his favorite high protein snacks had a California Prop 65 warning on it for dangerous levels of lead. He had told me: He had a liver biopsy, and is doing better now.
Hoffmeister, who was a gymnast early in life, managed to cut several weeks off the circumnavigation of Australia by paddling across the Gulf of Carpentaria. It took 7 days, requiring her to sleep, eat and even poop and pee off the edge of the kayak.
That's the most painful thing about losing my wife Vickie…biggest film fan I've known. Her personal record was 662 films in the theater in one year, and she had incredibly wide-ranging tastes. The sort of person who could watch a 22 film Marvel Marathon, or all nine and a half hours of Shoah.
Beef prices have risen so much that Impossible and Beyond have reached parity. Now is the moment for McDonald's to do a big push.
Here's the Kansas City Costco locations on a map. There is one located in the city's core, and all the rest are out in the suburbs. They're removing the food court from the only one that's in the city core. This is bullshit, and I wish to call them on it.
I saw Interstellar when they brought it back into the theaters about 6 months ago, and I made sure to get the caption unit my local AMC offered. Made it *vastly* more enjoyable. Talented director, no idea why he's such a dick.
A friend gave me a bag of her homegrown tomatoes, and I did the only logical thing…took them to a friend who works at The Peanut on Main in Kansas City and had them make me a triple BLT. This is the most amazing sandwich that has ever existed.
Well, he had a bad haircut. As Stephen King pointed out in his review of "The Lawnmower Man" - "In Hollywood, geeks are never really unsightly, they just have bad haircuts. Ryan Gosling with great hair versus Ryan Gosling with bad hair.
Apparently, scanned from a 35 mm print intended for theatrical presentation. From the channel description:
After having volunteered for months on his campaign in Kansas City, I flew home to Chicago to be with my late wife. One of my proudest moments as an American, was being in Grant Park, November 4th 2008. I still get goosebumps remembering that night. Still have the T-shirt.
I'm glad you recovered. I'm lucky, I've managed to get through this pandemic without ever having a symptomatic case. Me and my late wife wore high quality respirators as she fought stage 4 cancer. @flomask.bsky.social
Holy shit I'm old! I remember when Abbie Hoffman was arrested for wearing a shirt like that!
I feel for you. I was with my late wife for every chemo and immunotherapy infusion, every doctor's visit, and every day while she was in the hospital. I always wore my @flomask.bsky.social and asked that everyone masked. By doing so, we were able to make most of her final wishes come true.
Elton John said hearing Kate singing this song gave him the courage to seek sobriety. He invited her to his wedding:
Just so you know, the hosts are the Reverend Peyton and his wife Breezy. They are 2/3 of the Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. Rev married my late wife Vickie and I. They're amazing musicians and genuinely good people.
At the time, I was a subscriber to "Broadcast Engineering" magazine, and that's how I learned their names. The last gentleman, Bill Steckman, didn't even have to be there, he stayed to help install the digital transmitters.
In honor of the last day of Pride, I'm going to share this bit of wisdom by gay High School science teacher Grace Pokela. I'm going to post it as an image, but it will have an ALT with all the text.
