A depraved parade of boner gags, skillfully choreographed fights, and over the top gore. No one this side of Lucio Fulci loves destroying eyeballs more than Ishii. Just don't come looking for a coherent narrative. If THE EXECUTIONER had a script, it was dashed off on a napkin and promptly forgotten.

More of a radio play accompanied by images than a fully realized film. I felt like I could close my eyes without missing much. Riveting performances from Pike and Rhys, though. Their panicked helplessness as their daughter's situation grows increasingly dire and bizarre is terrifying to behold.
