I'm still sad that Ralph Bakshi's pitch for a Catcher in the Rye movie was rejected. I cannot think of a filmmaker more perfectly suited to adapt that book than him.

Monster Tale is a really fun metroidvania/monster raising sim. You feed items collected from killing enemies to your monster on the bottom screen and then you can issue it commands to help you in combat and solve puzzles. It's from the same devs as Henry Hatsworth.
Adventure of Samsara just got a huge update. It's a really good metroidvania and now is the best time to check it out if you haven't already. Sin and Punishment is my favorite game from Treasure. A unique blend of Space Harrier and Wild Guns with a dash of Evangelion for its story and overall presentation.
