A fun thing about owning my own kiln and wheel is that the only thing stopping me from ascending into a one-person babylonian pottery atelier was my social anxiety around over-performing.
This cow was painted at about the same time that the last mammoth went extinct, and a tree that is still living today got planted. Also about the same time as the invention of copper, buttons, the loom, the pyramid, sails, and weed smoking.

I've become addicted to texture rollers. Rollers are a really powerful use of 3d printing - a small good-enough 3D print can make really terrific clay impressions, and its easy to collect dozens! Mine are all from online shops so far, but its possible to make your own 3D model from a texture 👀
Recent(ish) news, I've bought a kiln. Her name is Sula, after the old Norse term for seagull that forms part of the latin name for Blue Footed Boobys.
