I still have one can of this series which I’ve been saving for when the Ukraine war ends. These were from the beginning of the war… (prior to the war the brewery called them “Russian imperial stouts” as per the traditional style). Aged decently, falling off a bit (4.5 years in a can…).

Now I’m not saying that I went to the Petersen last week for only one car… but I will say that this single car tipped the scales HEAVILY toward going.

A while ago I found myself floundering. I couldn’t really get motivated to do much, and I had more or less given up on exercise. Then a really good friend mentioned that he had been playing Pokémon Go and it was helping with getting him out and about. So I logged in and… 400+ kms / 1 month later…

I didn’t even know these existed until I saw one a couple of weeks ago.

I just looked back at my pictures from Gothenburg and… while there is definitely color, it is set off from a LOT of exposed metal, concrete, and drabness.

They are. And they are quite photogenic. (This is from a couple of weeks ago, a block or so from where I took the video this morning).

Saw Draag tonight at 191 Toole. They were amazing. Got the coolest set list I’ve ever received from a show. Had the band sign it as well. Also saw Diiv. They were far better than the last time I saw them (which was in 2013). But I was there for Draag. They were everything.

Personal best. Tucson to Patagonia and back (42.2 MPG to Patagonia, 52.1 MPG back). Hilly two lane highways with not a lot of stopping. A combined 47 MPG for a 90 mile round trip journey is pretty awesome for a Civic Si.
