I think it was 2008 I bought my first DSLR camera. Just got a cheap 3rd hand one via fb marketplace to take pics of the birds in the garden where I live. Once I can connect an sd card to a pc you’re all for it! :p
Am I a Matilda’s fan? I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of any sport, but it was cheap at an op shop and protects my bald head from sunburn. It began a quick and nice convo with a plant worker on an industrial site the other day, so, good on 2nd hand goods :)

Doing the course today for the provisional motorbike license. As an extra challenge to get to it I’ll be doing my first wet road ride in the dark. I am a very sensible person.
Two good 70km+ rides this weekend on the motorbike. A bit of top speed (90km/h for learners) and some more traffic time to get more used to stopping/starting and control. This is fun.
Sometimes the right instant coffee can be a reminder of motel rooms or dive boats.
Had to get supermarket staff assistance when buying a lighter. Asked if I looked over 18 and said they weren’t allowed to use the word grey in doing so.
There’s lots of motorbikes on marketplace that have been dropped once or twice by previous owners, just had a look and found someone who’s not in marketing lol
In NSW you don’t need to wear a hi-viz reflective vest when riding a motorcycle on your learner plates….but it helps you be seen.
