5 years ago today I got to hold this precious baby boi for the first time. A LOT has happened since then (those who've followed my cat saga since Twitter days know especially), but I'm SO excited to finally be bringing him home permanently this Sat. He is about to become the most spoiled cat ever. 💕

Matzo ball soup plush at Home Goods. Little dangly legs imply free-floating matzo ball is head. This raises questions: If head disconnected from body, HOW HE EAT? How does brain control motor functions? Is matzo ball connected to bowl via noodle peduncle? Or is he (are they?) a siphonophore??

I suspect it was inspired by this 1920s painting by Charles Demuth, it's called "My Egypt" and depicts a grain elevator (Ed's comment about the lighthouse looking like a grain tower might be a little joke/reference to this)

In keeping with the spirit of Fancyfuck, we rounded out the evening by going to a barcade where we played pinball and got our photo booth pics taken. ❤️
