Councillor in Witney | LGBT Rep - Co-op Party NEC | National Trans Officer - LGBT Labour | Secretary - Witney Labour | CEO - West Oxon Trans & Non-Binary Support | Studying Computing & IT at the Open University
OpenAI’s model escaping a sandbox to start a cyberattack should be the ultimate wake-up call. We’ve allowed unchecked tech in the name of "innovation" for far too long. We cannot give this much control to systems we fundamentally cannot understand.
It's time for the NEC to allow members in Makerfield to #BackBurnham. We are a democratic party, and this should be a democratic process.
Keir isn’t just ignoring the public; he’s ignoring his own MPs. Doubling down during an existential crisis isn’t leadership—it’s a recipe for chaos. He needs to stop pretending and set out a clear timeline for his departure now.
The 2026 #Rainbowindex is out: The UK is now definitively behind Estonia on LGBT rights. Estonia only legalised equal marriage in 2024, yet they scored 7 times higher than the UK on legal gender recognition. The signs of our regression are written in neon. We need change. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
"True leadership isn't about engaging in the loudest debates of the day; it is about ensuring that the protections meant for every British citizen work for everyone." An honour to speak in Parliament for Trans Day of Visibility. Let's make visibility mean dignity, not fear. 🏳️⚧️
With the Labour Students' elections closing yesterday, it's time to relax a bit... Nevermind! I'm pleased to announce that I'm standing for Vice President (EDI) for the Open University SLT. You can find my (slightly outdated) statement here: secure.cesvotes.com/V3-4-0/opens...
In school, my teacher let me skip class to watch the first Orion tests. Now, it’s within 75,000km of the Moon. #ArtemisII is a beautifully human achievement, particularly in such a divided world. I'll leave you with this from Edgar Mitchell:
Even the Telegraph seems to accidentally admit we're right. Iran can block oil in the Strait of Hormuz, but they can't block the sun or wind. No one wants this, but it happens. Far too often. If we want energy security, we need sources that can't be switched off.
🚨 FINAL 24 HOURS! 🚨 Polls for the Co-operative Party NEC By-election close at midday tomorrow. 🐝 For an experienced, resilient, and dedicated LGBT Rep, make sure to cast your vote for Georgia Meadows before it’s too late! 🗳️✨
Surprise! We could have won if Burnham were our candidate. Funny how quickly "Labour to Win" pivots to "Labour for 3rd Place" the moment they’re faced with the prospect of a progressive platform.
POLLS ARE NOW OPEN!!!! Polls have just opened up for LGBT Representative on the Co-operative Party NEC. If you want a rep with a strong and proven background, vote for Georgia Meadows before polls close later this month. Solidarity all. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Here's my full statement as a candidate for Trans Officer for Labour Students:
I'm pleased to announce that I have made the ballot for Trans Officer of Labour Students, with 33 nominations out of the 20 required. If elected, I will work as tirelessly as ever to ensure that trans voices are heard within the Labour movement and beyond. Solidarity. Forever.
Unfortunately the website hasn't been updated, so I'm unsure how many nominations I need, or if I've reached the threshold. Oh well! You can never have enough nominations! If you want a Trans Officer who fights for all trans people, nominate me with the Instructions below!
A reminder that I only need FIVE MORE nominations to stand as Trans Officer for Labour Students! If you are an LGBT Student in the Labour party, get in touch with ballots@labour.org.uk and nominate Georgia Meadows (L3092211) for trans Officer!
Outside of this being in Yaxley-Lennon's algorithm, a gay dating ad is in NO WAY the same as Grok creating CSAM. Grok made nude images of women and children. The sense of entitlement to think they have any right to invade women’s privacy in such a despotic manner is beyond me.
After years of unrelenting attacks by the media, we finally had a sliver of trans representation following the Supreme Court ruling. This is the result. People everywhere are beginning to recognise that the gender critical movement is powered by hate & billionaires.
Fantastic turnout for Remembrance today in Witney. Always lovely to see the town come together, especially in times when many seek to divide us. Hate is taking hold across the world, and we owe it to the memories of those who fought off the scourge of fascism not to go back.
To the LGBT Labour National Committee, nothing is spookier than 👻𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆!👻 The unelected zombie committee can only shamble on for so long! 🎃 This Halloween, follow us and join LGBT+ Labour, to vote for change when the time comes! 🌹🏳️⚧️
Considering issues with the EHRC, the UK's likely breaches of the ECHR and other affronts to equality we currently face, I cannot consider a more appropriate lineup of MPs to join the committee. This is fantastic news. Just as long as the Minister starts listening to them!
Every action taken against Banksy seems to have a beautifully poetic and poignant way of biting the attacker in the arse.
Translation: "Reform & Tory Councils are looking to spend hundreds of thousands in Council Tax despite not having a legal precedent to do so." Whether you agree with the judgment or not, from any perspective, this is wasteful. Also hypocritical of them to waste Council Tax on "virtue signalling."
It's insane to me that the Telegraph decided that the Taliban being the first to show support for Farage's deportation plan is a good thing.
It is legitimately sad to see how quickly the Secretary worked to remove Abe from the committee group chat and from our website. 20 minutes. He hasn't given us the constitution after asking 140 days ago, and it took him 20 minutes to reduce one of our best members to "vacant."
It's sad to see you go, Abe. But you're right, this isn't the Party we joined. As Membership Officer for LGBT Labour, you were one of the very few decent people on the committee. Even if they didn't give you access to the membership list. 🤦♀️ Take it easy Comrade. Solidarity.
They're cowards. The repercussions of that have been devastating. They've allowed the government to remove our rights without challenge. A friend of mine attempted suicide due to that. If they'd died, I would've wondered what more I could've done to get LGBT Labour to speak out.
LGBT Labour's record this year: 1. Removal of essential healthcare for trans youth. 2. The removal of 20 years of trans rights and undermining of trans people's identities. 3. The reintroduction of Section 28. This time for Trans People.
Just a random street on the day of London Pride hours after the parade finished. Our power is in collaboration, collective action and organisation.
