There is so much damage to the #Starship thermal protection system tiles. A good few tiles burned through revealing the aluminium skin beneath. Looks like something is causing the tiles to lift, presenting the leading points of the hexagons to the aerothermodynamic stream. This is a major problem.
Good to see you with a Super8! I bought the Sankyo CM300 Super 8 camera from my childhood a while back. Ours never worked, I used to spend hours looking through the viewfinder at stuff :-) It was a real nice piece of technology. And the behemoth we'd have to play the footage on - dear lord...

I added earthquake foci, magnitude (circle size), age (colour) and depth indicators (diagonal lines, longer for greater depth) to my super-duper rain and lightning observatory. Really neat to see how with distance from the boundary, the quakes get deeper as the ocean slabs subduct into the mantle
