Retired gypsy math teacher and former writer of a couple of short stories. I do not chat. I block anyone who sends me an unsolicited message, anyone who tries to sell me something, and Bible thumpers. I just don't want them on my feed.
I thought this was a storage shelf. You Kitty thinks it's her own apartment.
I was yelling about something this morning when You (the cat) walked up to me and, gently but deliberately, bit me on the leg. I took the hint.
I thought that Captain Carrot was looking listless and not himself all day yesterday. When I went to sleep last night, no purr. 4:30 in the morning, bouncing 14-year-old baby cat perched on my shoulder and batting at my eyelids with claws inadequately retracted! I think he feels better.
Captain Carrot disappeared today after I imposed on him with ear drops. He came back around midnight, in time for the next dose, but he let me pet him afterward and praise him and carry him to bed. He's gone off again, but doesn't seem so peeved.
I should have known. The veterinarian's assistant took Carrot's leash and started to lead him into the back to be weighed, and I said, "He usually doesn't walk on a leash." Of course he marched back there like a pro, holding his tail up and looking perfect. What a showoff!
This guy was hanging out on the top of my car with Captain Carrot, my orange cat. He jumped down when the cat did. He turned out to be an Eyed Click Beetle.
Every single time I set down this project, Captain Carrot takes it.
Captain Carrot is determined to steal my favorite pillow. I need to make one for him - or me.
It's all about the colors, chosen from a boatload of inherited yarn.
Captain Carrot is more or less photo ready now, in that he doesn't look like he's dying or being horribly mistreated.
First tote bag finished since I started crocheting again. I misplaced another one, but it's almost finished.
