Still getting things uploaded, but here is my Art Fight card for this year! Fight me. artfight.net/~Goldkin
The part that floors me is the data is just... there, like with Covid. You can see the impact in real time on Portwatch (which Wikipedia tipped me off to): portwatch.imf.org/pages/cc317b... I know it's an unreality bubble contradicting observable reality, but you can explain it in one graph:
Feels like we've come full circle on an old classic (with apologies for the poor scrape from archive):
I also got a squeak from @henryjdoe.bsky.social not that long ago! Hecking love this so much. 💜
I'm Adala Abhorsen on Seraph! I'm unsubbed currently (I mostly do story and crafter things), but will be back for Evercold. 💜
@birdoflight.pmd.social This legit made us laugh during this weekend's AP, great work. <3
Whoa, well, that's kinda playable. Flashing lights warning! (I have not reloaded yet, this is immediately after I spammed "A" to get past the cutscenes)
However! Upon exit the Misty Crystal Cave Entrance card is now stuck overlaying everything. The cutscenes after exiting the dungeon are still playing below it and the interface works to progress! I did not test this earlier. Similar problem maybe? Will see if it clears after I save/reload.
1. It does the pictured. This is just the first two lines of dialog, but it does this for the entire text sequence. 2. The partner cutscene played (paraphrase "erff, this is hard"), no Malfestio. It returned me to gameplay, and the menus were audibly working, but the screen remained black.
Honestly? Yeah. (Source: UFO 50 Mini and Max, specifically one of the walkthroughs on Steam)
Hell yeah. Got it at least to 1998, from the ADOM forums: usenetarchives.com/view.php?id=...
@unormal.bsky.social Also, the UI downscales quite nicely for this case, funnily enough
Zoom-out of this little cursed experiment. Plan was to try Dwarf Fortress on the device, but I got a little sidetracked.
@unormal.bsky.social I know you've been working on the smartphone release, but hear me out: Qud for 3DS
@tkingfisher.com Found these perusing our local bookseller, and figured I'd share with permission. These are also up on their website (eg, www.thirdplacebooks.com/book/9781250... ), but nothing beats the sincerity of a handwritten note
Captured this from the main thread earlier. I need to print this out and frame it:
Can't attack spectators currently, but I did a thing! Will add it there eventually. Scene: immediately before two copper nuggets, a shortbow, three boomrose arrows, two witchwood bark, and a pair of zetachrome pumps mysteriously disappeared from the homes of Joppa that day, never to be seen again.
