Picked this up in Lidl today, it's not bad. Does sound like a jet engine though.
Can't go anywhere without picking up a stuffed animal. Originally we wanted a panther, because Carolina, but the moment we saw this guy we had to have him. So say hello to the new member of our family, Heinz Beans the honey badger.
A few pics of Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Sadly I wasn't allowed to roam the Appalachian trail and live out my Last of the Mohican fantasies.
This fucking place, man. Politically I hate it with every fibre of my soul, but it's really beautiful. Though if the US somehow win the world cup, we're done. I'll never hear the end of it.
I... Am I stupid? I don't get how this tap works. I just want some hot water.
And finally Micky. This is as close to Micky as it's wise to be. He's a rescue like Jasmine but he's got some added trauma, so he only lets his favourite person pet him, anyone else and he turns into a bitey. All he wants is affection, but if you value your meat you need to respect him.
Jasmine. Poor sweet Jasmine. She's not got many teeth left so her tongue flops out, but she loves a cuddle. She gets very vocal when you ignore her to play with Millie. I think Millie's play growls set her off and she's being protective.
Oscar being affectionate. He's a labradoodle and has no brain in his massive head, but is the most chilled dog you will ever meet. He will come up to you for kisses and start licking the air in front of your face. He'll do it for hours until you put your face closer to let him slobber on you.
Millie with her avocado, she will play tug for hours, but her sister gets jealous. She's an Australian cattle dog and super intelligent. She will test you.
Duw duw it's hot here. Your Welsh boy wasn't made for these kind of temperatures.
Look at all these pillows! Why do Americans have so many pillows? You can't even sleep on them, they're as hard as a rock. They're purely decorative.
Off on another adventure, Carolina bound. A quick stop off for some airport sushi first though.
